For years, state agencies and private corporations have contracted with Community Rehabilitation Programs to handle custodial needs in and around their facilities. These programs provide professional cleaning services to their communities by offering client training, supervision and quality control inspections.
Services include restroom cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, disinfecting, carpet cleaning and hard floor care. Many community rehabilitation programs provide their own cleaning products and equipment purchased through the State Use Program.
WVARF has recently partnered with Kaivac, Inc. to provide individuals with disabilities with cutting-edge cleaning technologies. The company is a leader in touch less, wet-extraction equipment and has been recognized internationally as an innovative catalyst for improvements in janitorial development.
The partnership was created to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Community Rehabilitation Programs resulting in safer working conditions for workers and a more hygienic work space for state agencies.
Kaivac uses a Community Rehabilitation Program at their manufacturing facility in Ohio, providing employment opportunities for over 20 individuals with disabilities.
Janitorial Services are individually contracted based on the required scope of work and labor hours necessary to complete each custom service contract. State departments and agencies can contact WVARF to request pricing information for new or future janitorial needs.
